There are fabrics that many of my sewing colleagues can’t do anything with. Cotton satin is such a good example. In the shops you can almost always find it with a small amount of elastane and that’s exactly what makes the fabric so great for me. I’ve used them for a long time, as comfortable stretch trousers or for dresses. So that was one of the reasons why I designed the new Y-Dress pattern for such fabrics. Because the stretch woven fabrics were stacked on my shelf and I finally needed something where I could sew a lot of them \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n

This snake leather print here had been in my stash for quite a while and finally I had the dress for it in mind. It’s supposed to get hot, so I had to wear the narrow pencil skirt. As the 5th Y-dress I was able to get off the needle very quickly, so that I could cut it in the morning and already had the photos taken in the evening. For once indoors, I tried the new (not yet finished) photo corner.<\/p>\n
