Das heutige Outfit gehört aktuell zu Juniors absoluten Lieblingsoutfits. Der junge Mann redet ja inzwischen schon ganz gerne mit, wenn es um seine Garderobe geht, er sucht Stoffe aus und sagt mir was ich daraus nähen soll und danach bestimmt er, was er nun anziehen will. Oft schaut er mir beim nähen zu und fragt nach jeder Naht, ob ich denn nun endlich fertig sei, er will doch seine neuen Sachen immer gleich anziehen 😉 Das Objekt seiner Begierde ist hier mein monatliches Schnittmuster das ich über die Nähconnection bekommen habe. Diesen Monat hat die liebe Annika gleich zwei neue Schnitte übersetzt und uns zum Test vorgelegt. Ich habe mich hierbei für den Perfect Polo entschieden, ein ganz wunderbarer Schnitt für Jungs und Mädels, als Pullover oder T-Shirt zu nähen (und bei uns bald auch als Kleid im Haus.. 😉 ).
Today’s outfit is one of juniors favorites right now. My young man started to make his own decision about his clothes, he likes to pick a fabric and tell me what i should sew, he chooses his clothes to wear.. He often watches me while sewing and likes to ask me if i’m done yet about pretty much every single seam, since he wants to wear it right away. This time, it was about the new monthly pattern i get from nähconnection. This month, my dear Annika translated two new patterns into german and gave the to us to test them. I decided to the perfect polo, a great pattern for both boys and girls, with long or short sleeves (and in our house also as a dress, fabric is already chosen 😉 ).
Grün und blau sind Junior’s absolute Lieblingsfarben, dicht gefolgt von rot. Entsprechend müssen seine Kleider natürlich auch in diesen Farben gehalten werden. Den braunen Sternesweat hat er aber diesmal gesehen und gleich auf sich gezeigt, sprich daraus soll Mama gefälligst was tolles nähen 🙂
Junior’s favorite colors are green, blue and red, so many of his clothes are in those colors. But when he saw this brown sweat with the stars, he started to point at himself, which means that i need to make him something with it 🙂
Mit den ganzen Details am Poloschnitt, Kragen, Knopfleiste, Tasche und Schulterpassen, lässt es sich wunderbar mit den Farben spielen. Man kann hier auch mit Webware arbeiten, das finde ich ganz klasse um mal ein paar Stoffschätze zu nutzen die sonst nicht zum Zuge kommen.
With all the details, such as the collar, button border, pocket and shoulder yoke, you can play with the colors as you like. You can also use woven fabrics for those parts, which i think is a great opportunity to finally use some of those long stored favorite pieces, the ones you don’t get to use with so many other patterns.
Dazu gab es hier eine weitere Mini Chill@Home, auch hier lassen sich die Stoffe ja so wunderbar miteinander kombinieren. Und schaut mal, sogar die Gummistiefel passen farblich dazu 😉
To complete the outfit, i made another pair of pants from the mini chill@home pattern, here you can mix and match the fabrics just as well. And can you see how well his rubber boots fit here? 😉
Anstelle von Knopflöchern und normalen Knöpfen habe ich mich hier für Druckknöpfe entschieden, da hab ich nämlich noch so super passende in Gelb gefunden in meinem Lager. Auch die Säume sind passend in Gelb abgesteppt.
I used snap buttons instead of normal ones and buttonholes, i found some matching yellow ones in my stash. Another yellow detail is the topstitch at the hems.
Für uns also beides ganz tolle Schnittmuster die weiterhin verwendet werden, mit den unendliche vielen Variationsmöglichkeiten wird es auch nicht langweilig damit. Da werden wir euch auf alle Fälle noch mehr davon zeigen!
Ich hoffe, euch gefallen unsere Bilder dazu und während die Sonne nun wohl bei euch angelangt ist, hüpfen wir dann eben noch ein wenig in den Pfützen rum – das passende Outfit dazu haben wir ja jetzt 😀

Alle paar Wochen ist es wieder so weit und ich suche neue Probenäher. Meine Mädels haben mir darin bestärkt, dass man diesen Winter sehr wohl noch einen weiteren Hoodie Schnitt brauchen kann. So hab ich also meinen Lieblingspulli digitalisiert, artig Fotos vom nächsten Exemplar gemacht, ja sogar die halbe Anleitung ist schon geschrieben (davor drück ich mich ja meist so lange es nur geht 😉 ). Ich war also richtig fleissig schon und aktuell liegt auch Nummer 4 bereits halb zugeschnitten hier. Zunächst möchte ich ihn euch jetzt zeigen, damit ihr auch wisst was euch erwartet:
Every few weeks, I’m looking for new test sewers. Now it’s time again, after my girls confirmed that you can still have another favorite hoodie sewing pattern for this winter. So I made the pattern from my favorite sweater on my computer, took all the photos from hoodie number two while sewing it and I even got the instruction half done – which is very unusual for me (I don’t like that at all). I’ve done a lot of work already and number 4 is starting to form too, so now it’s time for you. But first let me show you what to expect:
Seit gestern hab ich mein kleines Fotostudio im Keller aufgebaut – hier seht ihr den zweiten Selbstversuch, bereits um einiges besser wie die ersten Fotos 😉 Klar, Verbesserungspotential ist auf alle Fälle noch da, aber hey jetzt kann ich abends ein Stockwerk runter rennen und selber knipsen, wenn ich mal wieder zu ungeduldig bin um auf einen Fotografen zu warten xD
Since yesterday, I got my own little photostudio in my basement – here you see my second try to and they already turned out way better then the first one 😉 Of course, they could still be a lot better but at least, now whenever I’m impatient again to wait for a photographer, I can just run down and take them myself xD
Als ich heute kurz bei meiner Mama vorbei bin, hat die meinen Hoodie gleich ganz genau inspiziert und von der Farbkombi geschwärmt – da bin ich also nicht die einzige, die total verliebt ist <3
Today, I made a short stop at my mom’s who inspected my hoodie right away. She loves to combination of the colors – so I’m not the only one in love with it <3
Wenn es nach mir geht, könnte ja überall eine Kapuze dran, ich würde das wohl selbst am Bikini noch tragen *kicher*. Ebenfalls immer gerne gesehen: Taschen! Gerade da ich nie eine Handtasche dabei habe, muss ja schliesslich alles in der Hose und im Pulli Platz haben – da sind so grosse, durchgehende, innenliegende Taschen doch perfekt. Und die kann ich inzwischen wohl im Schlaf 😉 Zwar etwas aufwändiger, aber sie machen eben einfach eine gute Figur finde ich.
For me, I could add a hood to absolutely everything, I think I’d even take a bikini with a hood *smile*. Also a great plus for pullovers: pockets! I never use handbags, so I gotta put all my stuff into the pockets of my jeans and hoodies. For this, I like big pockets like those here, passing through inwards and looking great on the outside. They take some time to make them, but they’re absolutely worth it.
Was den Hoodie aber wirklich von den zig anderen Schnitten abhebt? Die Taillenabnäher! Hier trage ich Variante A, für grössere Grössen gibt es ab D-Cup eine weitere Version, da ist der Taillenabnäher bis zum Saum durchgehend und darin ein Brustabnäher versteckt. Also auch für grosse Grössen schön figurbewusst.

What’s special about this hoodie, are the waist darts, they give it a sexy and more fitting look. There are two different possibilities, one for small cups like mine, and one for bigger cups, where the dart goes down to the seam, hiding an additional breast dart. Ihr habt ja bestimmt schon gemerkt, dass mich die Plottersucht fest im Griff hat. Wie passend, dass ich bei Katiela ein weiteres tolles Motiv mittesten durfte <3 Ihre Wolken haben so perfekt auf Töchterchens neuen Pullover gepasst und mit den noch vorhandenen Folien auch super zu ihrer neuen Hose.

By now, you might know how much i’m addicted to my plotter. Perfect timing for my friend Katiela, to show me another one of her designs. Of course i had to test it right away. It ended up on a new sweater for my daughter, with matching colors for her new pants.
Zur Zeit ist rot die Lieblingsfarbe meiner Tochter, entsprechend musste dieses Outfit natürlich jede Menge davon beinhalten. Und wie cool man damit posen kann..!
Right now, red is my daughters favorite color, and so her new outfit had to have a lot of red in it. It’s for really cool girls, isn’t it?
Weiss hingegen gefällt ihr so gar nicht, da ist meine Notlösung für nicht zu bunte Kleider die tolle Nachtleuchtfolie. Damit wird das weiss akzeptiert, weil es dann im dunkeln so schön leuchtet. Deshalb kommt diese Folie zur Zeit ziemlich oft zum Einsatz hier.
On the other hand, she doesn’t like white at all. But since i don’t want her clothes to be like a clown anymore, we found a great alternative – glow in the dark foil. With this, she accepts the white and we actually use it quite often.
Meine Kinder haben das hüpfen für Fotos für sich entdeckt. Da lieg ich dann schon mal auf dem Boden, um sie gut drauf zu kriegen – oder zumindest den benötigten Ausschnitt, so wie hier. Die Hose macht absolut alles mit und ist ein echter Blickfang.
My kids love to jump into the air for photos, for this, i sometimes lie on the ground in order to get a good shot at them. Or at least the part i need for the picture 😉 The pants are great for this and a real eyecatcher.
Etwas Patriotismus ist in diesem Outfit ebenfalls eingeflossen, die Taschen und Passe haben wir in passendem Schweizer Stoff gemacht. Manchmal ist es eben doch gut, wenn man kleine Reststückchen noch behält, den Stoff hier hab ich euch schon im August gezeigt, von den Nationalfeiertags-Outfits meiner Kinder. Die Kordel im Bund ist hinten in der Mitte fixiert, so kann sie nicht herausgezogen werden.
Na, wie gefallen euch unsere neuen Kleider? Hier wandern sie ja von der Wäsche direkt wieder an den Körper, falten und wegräumen überflüssig :p
We added a bit of patriotism to the outfit with that swiss fabric for the pockets. Sometimes it’s just worth keeping those little leftovers, we already used this fabric in august. The cord in the waistband is fixed in the middle back, so it can’t slip out.
Tell me, do you like our new clothes? They don’t get a chance to be folded and put into her dresser, she just picks them out of the fresh laundry :p
