Mein TV hat seit rund 2 Stunden ein Standbild, weil ich pausiert habe, ich bin in einen meiner viele Stoffe eingekuschelt und habe Herzrasen. Warum? Na, endlich ist es so weit und ich darf mein neuestes ‘Baby’ in die Öffentlichkeit geben. Den ganzen Tag schon bin ich wie auf Nadeln durch’s Haus gehetzt, hier und da noch was verbessert, ein Bildchen geschossen, mich versucht abzulenken und alle genervt 😉 Aber stolz kann ich nun sagen: der Nameless Hoodie ist fertig und wir sind alle zufrieden und glücklich damit <3 Selbstverständlich hab ich mir auch noch einen weiteren genäht, damit ich euch heute auch einen zeigen kann (ja gut, eigentlich hab ich ja noch viel mehr genäht, aber erst mal einen um den anderen..).
I’m really nervous, cuddling up on my couch in one of my fabrics and i’ve got sweaty hands. You may ask why? My new ‘baby’ is going to launch right now – finally i can share the Nameless Hoodie with all of you, now available 😀 I’ve been annoying my testers and friends and kids all day long, running from place to place and adjusting a few last things on the instruction.. But we’re satisfied with the result, happy and also sad that it’s already over again. Of course i’ve made myself another one to show you now too (well, actually i’ve made more than one, but i’ll show you those later..).
Dieses Exemplar hier wollte ich – wie so einige andere – gar nicht mehr ausziehen. Der Sweat ist wunderbar kuschelig aber nicht so dick und heiss wie übliche Sweatstoffe und ganz toll dehnbar. Er entstammt ebenfalls meiner Shoppingtour in Holland, wie schon die Stoffe vom letzten Nameless Hoodie 😉
Like some of my other sweaters, i could have just kept this one on for quite a few days. The sweat fabric is very cozy but not as thick and hot as most common sweaters and it has a nice stretch to it. I got this one on the same shopping spree as the ones from my last Nameless Hoodie 😉
Ich steh ja total auf meliert, egal in welcher Farbe. Das grau hier mit dem schwarz hat das ganze aber echt voll auf den Punkt gebracht, genau mein Geschmack. Damit es nicht ganz so ‘langweilig’ wie gekauftes ist, hab ich das mal eben mit einem Hauch kitschigem rosa aufgepeppt. Ich finde es ja richtig cool und überhaupt nicht süss – höchstens vielleicht ein bisschen Tussi xD
I absolutely love those sprinkled fabrics, no matter which color. But this grey with black, that just nailed it – exactly my taste of style. Since i don’t like it boring as simple bought fashion, i pimped it with a soft pink, might be cheesy but i’d rather think of it as cool xD
Ich hab mir hier übrigens den Fotohintergrund von meinen Kids ‘geklaut’ – normalerweise lichte ich ja sie vor der alten Wand ab. Aber wenn ich schon mal wem die Kamera in die Hand drücken kann, der gerade hier ist….. Ja dann darf ich auch mal davor posieren 😉
Usually, it’s my kids in front of this old wall, but since i had a photographer around, i decided that it’s my time to pose there. I think they won’t mind me ‘stealing’ their background 😉
Das ganz geniale Kreuz hier ist aus der kommenden Plotterserie ‘Tattoo-Liebelei Glaube’ von Katiela, die ich zur Zeit testen darf. Da sind noch ein paar Dateien mehr im Anmarsch, die genauso klasse sind! Ich versuche gerade möglichst alle noch durch zu testen, bevor sie am 25.3. dann erscheinen 😀 Das Kreuz hat hier einfach wie Faust aufs Auge gepasst und ich als Christin trage das natürlich sehr gerne zur Schau <3

Ich bin ein totaler Fan von blauen Augen zu schwarzen Haaren – ab und an muss das bei mir einfach auch sein 😉 Das Bild hier gefällt mir so richtig gut, das wurde gleich als neues Profilbild genommen.
I absolutely adore blue eyes together with black hair, so every now and then, i need that for myself too. I really like this picture, i even took it as my new profile pic 😉
Ich wohne ja fast direkt am Wald, so schön in der Natur. Auch wenn mein Fotograf erst skeptisch war, als ich in den Wald wollte – die Location ist doch mal echt toll, findet ihr nicht auch?
This is where i live, almost next to a forrest, surrounded by nature. When i wanted to go into the woods for today’s pictures, my photographer looked at my funny first, but i’d say we found another perfect location.
Ja und da findet man auch mal tolle Accessoires für Fotos – dieser Tierschädel lag direkt neben dem Baumstumpf von den Fotos. Also mal den Dreck abgeschüttelt und den Tod angeschrien.

Die beiden Stoffe, einmal mit Schwalben und dazu mit Federn, die haben mich so angelacht und ich wusste sofort, wie ich die kombinieren werde. Gefunden habe ich die beim Grosshandel, da durfte ich ein paar Ballen Stoffe shoppen – ja ein wahres Paradies für mich <3 Nur, dass ich echt Mühe hatte, mich zu beherrschen, und nicht gleich das ganze Lager leer zu kaufen. Zum Glück hab ich ein eher kleines Auto, da hätte nicht mehr viel mehr rein gepasst 😉 War echt toll und ich hab bereits noch ein paar Stoffe mehr angeschnitten, ebenso haben die Kinder und Mama ausgesucht was ich woraus nähen soll….
When i saw these two fabrics, i knew right away how to combine them and i instantly fell in love with them. I found them when i was fabric shopping at a wholesale, where i can only buy full rolls of cloth. Never mind, i just had to keep myself back so i wouldn’t buy the whole store. Luckily i’ve got a small car and couldn’t fit any more into the trunk. I’ve already cut into some more fabrics and my kids and mom chose some fabrics and told me, what to sew for them.
Die Hose ist eine AnniNanni Treggins, jedoch noch nicht ganz fertig. Da fehlt noch ein Reissverschluss und der Bund, ebenso ist der Saum noch gar nicht umgenäht. Sieht man zum Glück nicht und war gerade die einzige Hose, die mir dazu gefallen hat. Jetzt muss ich diese unbedingt endlich fertig machen, denn ich finde auch den Stretchjeans echt super toll.

This jeans is a AnniNanni Treggins, but as good as she looks here – she’s not finished yet. The jeans’ still missing its zipper and waistband and i didn’t hem them yet. But they were the only ones i found matching for the photos and luckily, you can’t see it. Now i just finally need to finish them, i really like that stretch jeans and want to wear them for real. Auf Facebook hab ich vor wenigen Stunden schon das Profilbild aktualisiert, war mal wieder Zeit so nach wohl bestimmt einem halben Jahr 😉 Darauf habt ihr bereits einen Ausschnitt von meinem neuen absoluten Lieblingspulli gesehen. Diesmal ohne Kapuze und ohne Taschen (ja gut, die hab ich doch schon etwas vermisst..) – er ist letzte Woche entstanden und musste unbedingt ganz schnell fertig werden. Der Nameless Hoodie sollte ja noch eine weitere Option mit Kragen bekommen, also hab ich etwas gezeichnet, angepasst, genäht, verworfen, abgetrennt, neu gezeichnet, neu genäht… Ja so wie das halt eben läuft in einem Probenähen. Jedenfalls bin ich jetzt zufrieden und hab mich schon wunderbar eingekuschelt <3
On Facebook, i finally updated the profile picture after at about half a year, it was about time for that 😉 There you could already see a tiny snippet of my new favorite sweater. This one is without a hood and pockets, he had to be finished very fast. Since i wanted another option for the Nameless Hoodie, i started sketching a collar, sew it, screw it, unstitch it, draw a new one, sew it again… Just the way it works in a test sewing 😉 But now i’m satisfied with it and already spent a few hours cuddling in it <3
Den Alpenfleece hab ich gehütet wie meinen Augapfel – den habe ich mal an einem Stoffmarkt gesehen und mich verliebt. Mir ist es völlig egal, ob Leoprint nun immer noch modern ist oder ich damit etwas hinterher hinke, mir gefällt er und und fühl mich wohl darin 😀 Gut das liegt zwar an erster Stelle an der flauschigen Innenseite, ich könnte ja alle Winterpullis aus Alpenfleece nähen und mich stundenlang darin einrollen, darin schlafen….. Das habe ich hier übrigens auch gemacht vor dem vernähen. Also nicht darin geschlafen, aber der Stoff hat auf seine Verarbeitung gewartet, ich war am Abend zu müde zum zuschneiden und so hab ich ihn als Decke beim TV gucken genommen 😉 Hab mich also sozusagen schon mal vorgewärmt und mit dem Stoff angefreundet *kicher*
This super cozy fabric has been in my stash for quite a while now and none but me was allowed to touch it. I found it at a fabric market and fell in love. I don’t know whether leoprint is still ‘in’ or not, i like it and i feel great in it. Well, maybe that’s also due to the fluffy inside of the fabric, if it were up to me, all my winter sweater would be like this. Just to bad, they don’t produce all sweats in this style 😉 With this one here, i already started to ‘warm up’ before sewing, it’s been in my living room, waiting for me to start cutting it. While i was tired in the evenings, i just took it as a blanket – so we became friends even before it turned into clothing *smile*
Die Fotos habe ich dieses Mal meiner lieben Suzann von muckelie zu verdanken <3 So zwischen zuschneiden und Leistentaschen an ihrem Pulli nähen, sind wir mal eben schnell raus gehuscht bevor der Regen uns erwischen konnte. Und seht ihr das, so ganz klein? Sogar meine Schuhe passen dazu – die haben auch etwas Leoprint an den Seiten 😉
This time, the photos were taken by my dear Suzann from muckelie <3 We made them between cutting here own hoodie and sewing the pockets – before the rain could catch us. And do you see the leoprint on my shoes? I always got a matching pair 😉
Und so sieht man mich meistens – am lachen! Wer mich kennt weiss, dass ich das nämlich unheimlich gerne mache, tut gut, hält jung, gibt nur etwas Lachfalten 😉 Aber die sehen gut aus find ich, zeugt davon, dass man gelebt hat. Der Kragen ist übrigens auch wie die Kapuze gefüttert, nur hab ich hier die innere Lage mit der linken Stoffseite nach aussen genäht – so hab ich die Kuschelseite vom Stoff auch am Hals um mich zu wärmen – oder eben kuscheln, dafür ist der Stoff ja doch gemacht, oder? 😉
Wie ist das eigentlich bei euch, habt ihr auch immer so saisonale Lieblingsstoffarten? Und wenn ja, woraus könntet ihr jetzt gerade alle eure Kleider nähen? 🙂
And THIS is how you see me mostly – laughing. If you know me, you also know how much i like to do this, it makes you happy and you stay young, you only get some laughing lines 😉 But i actually think they look good on everyone, they show that you’ve had a live and i bet it was a good one! For the lining of my collar, i turned the fabric wrong side out, so i can feel the fluffy side of it to my neck.
